The mission of the Evanston Dance Ensemble is to create inventive performances and programs of the highest quality, nurture the power and artistry of talented young dancers, and reflect the diversity of our community by fostering inclusivity, collaboration, and creative expression.

 

In residence at Dance Center Evanston, the Ensemble performs several productions each year. EDE is known for its innovative treatment of stories and themes and collaborating with top professionals in the field to create original productions.

 

The Ensemble also extends its involvement into the community with its second company, ede2, which tours its own original shows to schools, libraries, and senior centers throughout the North Shore.
